The Cancer Rollercoaster

Psychological support for every stage of cancer-related life.

Cancer doesn’t just change your body.

It shatters your whole world.

One minute you’re managing everyday life.
The next, it’s scans, specialists, survival.

The decisions are relentless.
The emotions are unpredictable.
And the people around you? They often don’t get it, or disappear entirely.

Whether you’re:
• Reeling from a diagnosis
• Numb in the middle of treatment
• Struggling with fear after it’s “over”
• Or supporting someone you love through all of it...

This is the ride no one chooses but that too many ride alone.

You don’t have to.

Hi, I’m Michelle

Senior Clinical Psychologist, dedicated to cancer-related emotional care

For almost 20 years, I’ve sat with people in the rawest moments of their cancer experience — and I’ve seen just how much emotional support is missing.

I created The Cancer Rollercoaster to change that.

Here, you’ll find:
• Support that’s psychologically grounded — but never clinical or cold
• Tools that are practical — not patronising
• A space that’s safe, thoughtful, and honest — no toxic positivity in sight

You don’t have to be falling apart to need help.
You just need somewhere real to land.

What Kind of Support Do You Need Right Now?

Cancer doesn’t follow a straight line. Some days you want tools. Other days, you just want someone who gets it.

That’s why we offer different kinds of support  from free resources to small-group therapy, for every stage of cancer-related life.

How It Works

Step 1 – Start where you are
Browse free resources, join a self-guided program, or connect with a clinical psychologist.

Step 2 – Choose what fits
Every option is built from clinical expertise and tailored to real-life emotional needs.

Step 3 – Feel more supported, more steady, and more like you again
Whether you need tools, people, or peace of mind — we’ll help you find your next step.

You’re not too early, too late, or too complicated.

The Cancer Rollercoaster is here for the entire ride and for everyone affected by cancer.

Why You Won’t See Reviews Here

You might notice there are no star ratings or testimonials on this page (or any page).

That’s because as a registered clinical psychologist, I’m bound by AHPRA’s ethical guidelines and that means I can’t publish reviews from clients or patients.

It’s not because this doesn’t work. It’s because your safety and privacy matter more than marketing.

Instead of hype, you’ll find:

  • Programs grounded in research

  • Clear outlines of what’s included

  • The same care I’ve provided to hundreds of people across almost 20 years in psycho-oncology

If you’re unsure if it’s the right fit, you’re always welcome to reach out via email to chat.
